The new 109 St. location has a more upscale feel and with chef Jesse Morrison-Gauthier at the helm, the Common offers a new twist on pub-fare: like the umami burger, which features square cut steak (matching the focaccia bun shape) with truffle oil, or the molten lava cake sitting on a stip of rock salted caramel. The kitchen closes at 11 p.m., but the bar stays open late.
