Gilbert and Sullivan’s comedic opera comes to life at the Jubilee Auditorium (11455 87 Ave.) on Feb. 6, 9 and 11. The Pirates of Penzance follows Frederic, a young pirate apprentice, whose unfortunate birth date on a leap year prolongs his apprenticeship by about four decades, give or take.
